Pastor Robert Johnson, the second of four children was born to the
late                                              Robert W. Johnson Sr. and Elizabeth Johnson. Pastor Brenda
Johnson,                                     the second of seven children was born to the late Hubert Cherry and
the                                               late Ada Cherry. Both Pastors credit their parents and
her                                              grandmother Ethel Faulkner for instilling discipline and a solid
Christian                                    foundation in their home
.
In 1975, Brenda dreamt she was wed to Robert, though she
never                                          met him. Three weeks later, they would meet in their new professions
and                                             through this union they have three lovely daughters; Tennille, Leslie
and                                             Erin, who assist their parents in ministry.
Ten years after meeting each other, the Father began to
send revelations to the couple through anointed prophets. His Word
would soon thrust them into the five-fold ministry. The first of these revelations came by way of a
prophetic word. The prophecy of the Pastors’ future was so amazing, they initially doubted it. He
immediately gave them clear evidence. However, the fulfillment of the vision would be for an appointed
time.
The first Sunday service was conducted on Sunday, December 28, 1997, in the living room of their
home. The demands on the Johnson household forced the family to relocate to a new sanctuary. In 2001
Eternal Life Ministry moved to the current location in the Samaritan Chapel of 11030 South Longwood
Drive.
As of October 1999, Brenda serves  the church full-time and devotes quality time to the work of the
ministry. Robert serves full-time as Chaplain and Religious Coordinator for the Department of  Juvenile
Justice. They continue to share joint responsibility in the pulpit  and  ministerial concerns.
January 19, 2003 Apostle Jerry McElroy confirmed in greater detail the broad commission given to the
pastors.  He told them of the apostolic anointing on their lives, constituting the important link in all  that
God has done and will continue to do until He returns. The confirmation made clear the purposes of God
for Eternal Life Ministry into which all of God’s programs and works fit.
The Pastors are committed to fulfilling the Father’s perfect will. The Almighty God has opened many
doors for them through suburban, urban, national, and international outreach ministries. They are known
as faithful believers who strive for excellence.
Thus, their God given purpose extends to foreign lands. They have traveled internationally into the
continents of Europe, and greater North America. Brenda has worked with an international ministry
traveling with a select team to Asia and Central America, laying hands on the sick as she ministered to
thousands of  oppressed who experienced supernatural  healings. A 2006 magazine of group photos of the
team at work is circulated world wide by way of  DVD interviews and internet.

Pastor Robert among his many accomplishments has received the two most cherished awards having
been named  Outstanding  Chaplain of the State of Illinois and Outstanding Volunteer Coordinator of the
State of Illinois crediting him with the highest number of volunteers who donated the most hours.  He
continues ministering salvation to countless souls.
